Modern horticulture increasingly relies on fertigation (the application of fertilisers through irrigation) and chemigation (the application of pesticides or herbicides via irrigation). These techniques demand precise dosing and uniform distribution to be effective, tasks which pumps are uniquely suited to manage.

Pumps used in fertigation systems help mix and inject nutrient solutions into the irrigation lines, ensuring plants receive balanced and consistent feeding.
